Wembanyama vs Flagg: The 2026-27 NBA Memorabilia Guide

Both went first overall in their drafts, both won Rookie of the Year, and both are already the faces of their franchises. As a rookie he averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists and won Rookie of the Year. Every signed piece in this guide comes with a numbered certificate from an independent authenticator: Beckett, JSA, PSA, Panini Authentic or Upper Deck. You look that number up on the authenticator's own site rather than ours, which is the point: the record proving the signature is genuine does not depend on our word. We check every certificate against the authenticator's database before a piece ships.

The labels mean different things. Beckett Witnessed, on the Larry Bird display, means a Beckett representative was in the room when Bird signed. Panini Authentic and Upper Deck Authenticated pieces come from those companies' own private signings. Beckett, JSA and PSA authentication on the rest means the signature was examined by the authenticator and certified.

One more distinction, because it trips up a lot of buyers. A certificate proves the signature. It says nothing about whether a jersey was ever worn in a game, and none of ours were: everything here is new collector stock, signed for autograph purposes.
