An authentic Michael Jordan autographed photo of “The Last Shot”, the final shot Jordan ever took in a Chicago Bulls uniform and one of the most collected pictures in sports memorabilia. If you have been looking for a signed Michael Jordan photograph with paperwork that holds up on resale, this is that piece: Upper Deck Authenticated, the only program Jordan signs under, with a serial number you can check with Upper Deck before it ever goes on your wall.

Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, Salt Lake City. Utah led 86 to 85 with 18.9 seconds left when Jordan stripped Karl Malone in the post, brought the ball up, crossed over Bryon Russell and held the follow through on a 20 foot jumper with 5.2 seconds on the clock. Chicago won 87 to 86 and took its sixth championship. Jordan never played another game for the Bulls.

Authentication

Upper Deck Authenticated is Michael Jordan's exclusive signing program. He does not sign for anyone else, which is why UDA is the paperwork the Jordan market treats as unconditional. UDA pieces are witnessed at the signing rather than judged from a photograph afterwards, and they carry a hologram and serial on the item itself. This photograph also carries a GOAT Authentics quick opinion as a second read.

You check that UDA serial with Upper Deck directly rather than with us, and that is the point: the record proving the signature is genuine does not depend on our word. We check it against their database before anything ships. Some of our pieces also carry a Custom Authentics hologram serial, which resolves on our serial number verification page.

Common questions

What is “The Last Shot”? The 20 foot jumper Michael Jordan hit over Bryon Russell with 5.2 seconds left in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, winning the game 87 to 86 and Chicago its sixth championship. It was the last shot he ever took as a Bull.

Where is the autograph? On the white matting below the image, in bold black, not across the photograph itself. That keeps the picture clean and puts the signature where it reads from across a room.

How do I know it is real? Upper Deck Authenticated witnesses Jordan signing in person, so this is not an after-the-fact opinion. The piece carries a UDA hologram and serial you can check with Upper Deck directly, on their system rather than ours.
