The 2026-27 NFL Season Collector's Guide
Share
Week 1 is underway, the Seahawks are defending a Lombardi, and every fan in America just remembered what Sundays are for. Which makes this the right moment for a working guide to NFL memorabilia for the 2026-27 season: what to collect, what to check before you pay, and what is sitting in our shop right now.
We spent the past week stocking the football side of the store, so this guide is built the way we build everything: authentication first, hype never.
Start with the quarterback wall
NFL collecting runs through quarterbacks. It always has. The signed pieces people actually display, year after year, belong to the players who touch the ball on every snap.
That is why the centerpiece of our new football shelf is Josh Allen. The 2024 MVP opens this season as the favorite in the early MVP odds, and Buffalo remains appointment viewing every single week. We carry him three ways right now, and more on that below.
Veterans matter too. Matthew Stafford is a Super Bowl champion with one of the most respected right arms of his generation, and Denver's Bo Nix gives collectors a young franchise quarterback at an entry price. A quarterback shelf that spans eras is more interesting than one frozen in a single season.
Helmets or jerseys: pick your format
Most NFL collections are built from three formats, and the right one depends on your space more than your budget.
A signed full size helmet is the statement piece. It sits on a shelf or in a case, it reads from across the room, and the signature sits on a surface built to last decades. A signed mini helmet gives you the same shape at a fraction of the price and footprint, which is why minis are the classic first NFL piece. A signed jersey is the wall option: framed properly, it becomes furniture-grade decor, and unframed it stays flexible until you decide.
There is no wrong answer. There is only what fits the room you actually have.
The authentication bar, and what "witnessed" means
Our standard does not change by sport. Nearly every signed piece we sell is authenticated and certified by an independent third party first, before we do anything else, and the numbered certificate ships in the box. That number verifies on the authenticator's own website, not ours, which is exactly the point: you never have to take our word for it.
Most of our new NFL pieces carry Beckett certification marked "Witnessed," and that word is worth understanding. It means a Beckett representative was present when the athlete signed, and the item entered Beckett's system on the spot. "Authenticated" means Beckett's examiners verified the signature after the fact. Both come with a numbered certificate you can check in Beckett's database; witnessed simply adds an eyewitness to the paper trail.
Many of our pieces also carry a Custom Authentics hologram serial as a second record on top of that certificate. Where a piece has one, it resolves on our own verification page. Either way, the certificate is the record that proves the signature.
The NFL pieces in the shop right now
Everything below is real, live, and priced as listed today.
The flagship: a Josh Allen signed Bills red throwback full size helmet, Beckett Witnessed, $1,888, in stock and ready to ship. The red throwback shell is the one Bills fans actually want, and a full size helmet signed by the franchise quarterback is about as central as an NFL piece gets.
The wall pieces: a Josh Allen signed Bills jersey in a custom framed display, Beckett Witnessed, $1,488, framed to order after you buy. Prefer to handle framing yourself? The Josh Allen signed red alternate jersey is $1,188, prepared to order.
The veteran: a Matthew Stafford signed Rams full size helmet in the Rivalries Midnight Mode shell, Beckett Authenticated, $1,088, ready to ship. The blacked-out design makes it the most modern-looking piece on the shelf.
The entry point: a Bo Nix signed Broncos retro mini helmet, Beckett Witnessed, $488, ready to ship. If you are starting an NFL case, or starting someone else's, this is the piece.
The whole football side lives in our Signed NFL Memorabilia collection, and it will grow as the season does.
The bottom line for this season
Collect the player whose games you will actually watch this year. Check the certificate before you pay, on the authenticator's own site, every time, from every seller, including us. And buy the format that fits your room, because the best piece is the one you see every day.
Browse the NFL collection, and join the email list for first look as new football pieces land through the season. Week 1 stock has a way of not lasting until the playoffs.
