A baseball hand-signed by Shohei Ohtani, set in a glass ball cube at the base of a black shadowbox frame over navy matting. Above the ball is a photograph of Ohtani in the Dodgers home whites, walking out of the box with the bat in hand. The baseball carries the autograph; the photograph is not signed.

The autograph is certified twice, with an MLB Authentication hologram and a Fanatics Authentic hologram, each carrying its own serial number.

Ohtani is a four-time MVP and won unanimously every time: American League MVP with the Angels in 2021 and 2023, and National League MVP with the Dodgers in 2024 and 2025. In 2024 he became the first player in MLB history with 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season, and he won back-to-back World Series titles with the Dodgers in 2024 and 2025.

Details

  • Player: Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Dodgers
  • Item: Hand-signed baseball in a glass ball cube, framed with a photograph of Ohtani in the Dodgers home white uniform
  • Signature: Hand-signed on the baseball. The photograph is unsigned.
  • Authentication: MLB Authentication and Fanatics Authentic, each with its own hologram and serial number
  • Presentation: Black shadowbox frame with navy matting and a glass ball cube, ready to hang
  • Photo: The image is a stock image, and your piece may vary slightly.
  • Individually certified: each piece is authenticated on its own and carries its own certification number, which is why the signature placement and serial differ from the image shown

Authentication

MLB Authentication tags each item it certifies with a tamper-proof hologram carrying a unique serial number, which you can trace in the authentication database on MLB.com. Fanatics Authentic adds its own hologram, and the number printed on it can be checked on Fanatics' own verification page. The certification ships in the box.

You look those numbers up with MLB and Fanatics rather than with us, and that is the point: the record proving the signature is genuine does not depend on our word. Many of our pieces also carry a Custom Authentics hologram serial as a second record alongside that certification, never a replacement for it, which you can check on our serial number verification page.

Common questions

What is signed? The baseball. Placement varies from ball to ball because each one is signed individually. The photograph in the frame is not signed.

Will my piece look exactly like the image? The image is a stock image, so your piece may vary slightly. Your ball carries its own signature and certification serial, and the player photograph may vary.

Why two holograms? The signature is certified by two programs, MLB Authentication and Fanatics Authentic. Each hologram has its own serial number and its own lookup, on MLB.com and on Fanatics' site.

Why does it take 2 to 3 weeks? The signature is authenticated and certified before we do anything. Only then is the piece framed by hand and packed with its certification.

Can I return it? No. All sales are final. If your piece arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Full details are on our shipping and returns page.
