A red Los Angeles Angels number 17 jersey with OHTANI across the back, hand-signed by Shohei Ohtani. It is mounted in a black frame over navy and red matting, with the Angels logo in both upper corners, the Angels patch showing on the sleeve, and two photographs of Ohtani in the red Angels jersey below, one at the plate and one on the mound, either side of ANGELS lettering.
The autograph is certified twice, with an MLB Authentication hologram and a Fanatics Authentic hologram, each carrying its own serial number.
With the Angels, Ohtani was the unanimous American League MVP in 2021 and again in 2023, and in 2022 he became the first player in MLB history to qualify as both a hitter and a pitcher in the same season. He has since won two more MVP awards with the Dodgers, unanimous every time. This display puts the number 17 he made famous in Anaheim on your wall, with the two-way story in the photos below it.

Authentication
MLB Authentication tags each item it certifies with a tamper-proof hologram carrying a unique serial number, which you can trace in the authentication database on MLB.com. Fanatics Authentic adds its own hologram, and the number printed on it can be checked on Fanatics' own verification page. The certification ships in the box.
You look those numbers up with MLB and Fanatics rather than with us, and that is the point: the record proving the signature is genuine does not depend on our word. Many of our pieces also carry a Custom Authentics hologram serial as a second record alongside that certification, never a replacement for it, which you can check on our serial number verification page.
Common questions
Where is the signature? On the jersey. Placement varies from piece to piece because each jersey is signed individually.
Will my piece look exactly like the image? The image is a stock image, so your piece may vary slightly. The layout of the sleeves, the two player photographs, the signature placement and the certification serial can all differ.
Why two holograms? The signature is certified by two programs, MLB Authentication and Fanatics Authentic. Each hologram has its own serial number and its own lookup, on MLB.com and on Fanatics' site.
Why does it take 2 to 3 weeks? The signature is authenticated and certified before we do anything. Only then is the piece framed by hand and packed with its certification.
Can I return it? No. All sales are final. If your piece arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Full details are on our shipping and returns page.
Player photos may vary from the example shown.
