It is mounted in a black frame over light green and black matting, with the Celtics shamrock in both upper corners. Below the jersey, two photographs flank CELTICS in white lettering: Bird battling Magic Johnson for position, and Bird rising for a jump shot.

The signature is Beckett Witnessed: a Beckett Authentication representative was in the room when Bird signed and applied the hologram on the spot, so the record runs directly from the signing to the certificate.

Bird spent his entire 13-season career with the Celtics, winning three NBA championships (1981, 1984, 1986), three consecutive league MVP awards from 1984 to 1986 and two Finals MVP awards. He was a 12-time All-Star, the 1980 Rookie of the Year and a member of the 1992 Olympic Dream Team, and he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998. The Celtics retired his number 33.

Details

Player: Larry Bird, Boston Celtics, number 33

Item: Green Celtics-style jersey with BIRD and number 33 in white

Signature: Hand-signed in black marker, with the Beckett Witnessed hologram on the jersey

Authentication: Beckett Witnessed, a Beckett representative present at the signing, with a certificate number you can verify on Beckett's own site

Presentation: Black frame with light green and black matting, the Celtics shamrock in both upper corners, and two photographs with CELTICS lettering below, ready to hang

Individually certified: each piece is authenticated on its own and carries its own certification number, which is why the signature placement and serial differ from the photo shown

Authentication

Witnessed authentication is the shortest chain in this business. A representative from Beckett Authentication Services was in the room when the jersey was signed and tagged it on the spot with a tamper evident hologram, so the signature is not a matter of opinion after the fact.
